Quote or paraphrase the passage, answer in complete sentences, and tag each response to the sub-question number. For inference items, state the textual evidence before your interpretation.

Maintain neutral tone, stick to word limits, and preserve the passage’s logical order. Avoid copying phrases; use synonyms while keeping key facts intact for summary marks.

Off-topic elaboration, grammar spikes that obscure meaning, and missing connectors between ideas. Proofread once aloud and fix tense consistency before final submission.

Sketch a 3-point outline (intro, body, close), allocate time per section, and match register (formal letter vs essay). Underline the task verbs (argue, describe, narrate) to stay aligned.

Drill common error patterns (subject–verb agreement, articles, prepositions) and practise transforming sentences as per TMA instructions. Show strike-through corrections neatly if the paper asks for editing.

Indent paragraphs, leave a line between sub-parts, and number items exactly as the assignment sheet. Legible handwriting and consistent margins reduce mis-marking risk.
